DBS currently has 70 Singapore-based tech vacancies requiring big data skills (most of which have big data in the job title), according to its careers website. That’s nearly 42% of its total tech openings and 14% of its roles across all functions in Singapore.
"This is not a junior or contract hiring spree – almost all the new positions are permanent and are at AVP level or above. DBS is predominately looking for mid-career candidates – from data scientists to product managers – who have work-based experience (not just academic qualifications) in big data."

Sheng Siong Group's shares has risen 25% YTD, outpacing the Straits Times Index's -6% and scoring an impressive gain for investors.
"The group currently has one supermarket in China. Sales in that outlet have improved in the latest quarter and Sheng Siong is hoping that it can continue to grow its brand in China.
