DBS extends $23m grant money to 23 enterprises
Of this, 8 were small and medium enterprises.
DBS Foundation announced it awarded a total of $3m grant to 15 social enterprises and 8 small and medium enterprises.
The grant is expected to scale the growth and impact of the 23 awardees, which will be in addition to the Foundations community of more than 10 businesses.
“These businesses play an increasingly important role in creating new solutions to improve lives and livelihoods, and enable change,” Karen Ngui, Group Head, DBS Strategic Marketing and Communications and Board Members of DBS Foundation, said.
“We are privileged to stand alongside these enterprises to help them to build and scale their businesses, as they strive to provide long-term solutions to improve the state of our planet and support the communities in which they live and work in. By coming together and marshalling our collective strengths, we hope to create a greater impact together.”

Collectively, the 23 awardees target to support over 2 million lives and livelihoods, reduce greenhouse gas emissions, slash food waste by over 132,000 tonnes, and provide 1,000 million litres of clean water.
