Guess how much a Singapore CFO earns a year

It can spike to a crazy rate of $500,000.

The market in 2012 remained relatively stable and job opportunities arose asa result of natural attrition, rather than company or team expansion, Robert Walters said in its recent global salary survey.

In 2012, it saw an increase in contract finance and accounting hiring within commercial businesses due to the on shoring of roles within medium to large shared service centres in Singapore. While a variety of skill sets were in demand, financial analysts, interim financial controllers and accountants were all sought-after. The FMCG, pharmaceutical, oil and gas, chemical and mining sectors were most active in the recruitment of contractors.

It noted that in Singapore, a Chief Financial Officer on permanent position enjoyed a salary of $300-450k per annum. In 2013, it is seen to rise $300-500k+ for the same position. The table below shows the salary list of professionals under Accounting and Finance sector.
