IFPAS, Kaplan launch new certification programme for financial practitioners
The programme will take six to 12 months to complete.
The Insurance and Financial Practitioners Association of Singapore (IFPAS) has partnered with Kaplan Professional Australia to launch the Fellow Chartered Financial Practitioner (FChFP) Certification in Singapore.
Accredited by the Institute of Banking and Finance (Singapore) (IBF), the certification programme aims to help financial practitioners develop their emotional intelligence and interpersonal skills and enhance their understanding of behavioural finance and investor psychology.
The programme has five core subjects and takes six to 12 months to complete. Subjects include:
- FChFP1: Principles of Financial Planning
- FChFP2: Wealth Creation and Retirement Planning
- FChFP3: Estate and Succession Planning
- FChFP4: Personal and Business Insurance
- FChFP5: Client Engagement and Financial Planning Practice
Classes will be in person and students will have access to first-class online resources, case studies, international academic libraries, and industry publications.
Classes will start on 11 March 2024.
