UOB arranges NUS’ $340m 10-year green bond
It has a coupon rate of 3.268% and will be issued on 31 March 2023.
UOB was the sole lead manager and sole bookrunner for the National University of Singapore’s S$340m 10-year green bond.
The bond has a coupon rate of 3.268% and will be issued on 31 March. UOB expects the bond to be rated Aaa by Moody’s Investors Services.
For comparison, the 10-year Singapore Government Securities (SGS) was trading around 2.88% on 21 March 2023.

This is the first bond from a public sector issuer in the SGD market this year, UOB said.
The issuance is reportedly testament to NUS’ solid credit quality and strong standing in the fixed income market, the bank said in a press statement announcing the bond’s imminent issuance.
