UOB floats Finance Academy for employee development

It allows the bank's Finance team to train in areas like asset and liability management.

UOB has launched its Finance Academy, a training and development programme that will focus on granting employees in its Finance arm soft and technical skills.

The Finance Academy allows participants to choose to develop specialised skills in areas such as asset and liability management and project management.

Designed in-house, the Finance Academy builds on UOB’s group-wide learning programme Better U which helps employees establish five core competencies the bank has identified as essential for its people to stay relevant in the future. Once the Finance team have completed Better U, they will progress through the Finance Academy’s three-month programme.
