American Express Singapore appoints Yoshimi Nakajima as country manager

She will head the consumer card business in Singapore, and become the Singapore Country Manager of American Express International Inc.

According to a release, Ms. Nakajima brings with her more than two decades of experience in leading companies in the financial services industry, and has been holding various senior executive positions in American Express since joining the company’s Japan office in 2002.

In her new role, Ms. Nakajima will head the consumer card business in Singapore, and become the Singapore Country Manager of American Express International Inc. She will focus on growing the Card business in Singapore, by continuing to increase American Express’ presence, expanding new revenue streams while maintaining the unparalleled levels of service associated with the American Express brand in Singapore.

Commenting on her new appointment, Ms. Nakajima said: “I am delighted to have joined the team in Singapore and am looking forward to draw upon their expertise and skills, and together lead the organization to further accelerate our business and enhance our brand presence in the market.”
