Deloitte appoints Cheung Pui Yuen as Singapore managing partner

He will succeed Philip Yuen.

Audit firm Deloitte has appointed its Singapore deputy managing partner for operations Cheung Pui Yuen as the firm’s new country managing partner effective 1 January 2019, an announcement revealed.

Cheung will succeed Philip Yuen who will stay on as CEO of Deloitte Southeast Asia, and chairman for Deloitte Singapore.

Cheung has over 27 years of experience in public accounting in Australia and Singapore, having served as a lead client service partner for audit of many listed and non-listed companies in Singapore.

He has also advised companies in their IPOs on the Singapore Exchange (SGX), performed acquisition and due diligence reviews of companies in Asia Pacific, as well as conducted seminars on various audit-related issues for Deloitte & Touche LLP, ISCA and CPA Australia.
