DFCC Bank appoints Mr. H.A. Ariyaratne as a member of board
His appointment became effective on October 10, 2016.
Mr. Ariyaratne, 63, was appointed as a non-executive director.
According to his brief resume, Mr. Ariyaratne has extensive experience in development banking, investment banking, venture capital financing and fund management from his 30 years of working with the bank. He was executive vice president for lending, senior vice president for special loan administration and had other positions throughout his career.
He also served as the chairman of the Banking, Finance, and Insurance Committee of the National Chamber of Commerce.
He is also a director of a number of companies in the LAUGFS Group.
