Net Pacific Financial Holdings appoints Francis Lee Fook Wah as Director
He is also chairman of the Remuneration Committee, and member of the Audit Committee, Risk Management Committee and Nominating Committee.
The Board of Net Pacific Financial Holdings announced the appointment of Francis Lee Fook Wah as Director MrLee replaces Mr Chan Kwong Chung Bernard who has resigned on 15 May 2012 as an independent director of Net Pacific Financial Holdings Limited (the “Company”). Mr Lee was identified as a suitable candidate through the business networks of Board members. The Board is of the view that Mr Lee’s relevant working experience and accounting and financial management expertise are desirable competencies.
Mr Lee, 46, is based in Singapore and has more than 18 years of experience in the financial industry. Mr Lee is currently an independent director of Sheng Siong Group Ltd, a company listed on the Main Board of the Singapore Exchange Securities Trading Limited (“SGX-ST”), and a director of Wise Alliance Investments Ltd, an equity investment company, where he manages and oversees investment portfolios, according to a Net Pacific FInancial Holdings report.
Mr Lee began his career in 1990 in the Commercial Crime Division of the Criminal Investigation Department, where he served as a senior investigation officer. Mr Lee was an assistant manager conducting credit analyses with OCBC Bank in 1993 and a dealer’s representative with Deutsche Morgan Grenfell Securities managing clients’ investment portfolios between 1994 and 2001. From 2001 to 2005, Mr Lee was a credit and relationship manager with Bank of China and an investment and project manager with AP Oil International Ltd. From 2005 to 2011, Mr Lee served as an executive director, finance director and chief financial officer of Man Wah Holdings Limited (“Man Wah”) where he was responsible for the overall accounting functions and matters relating to its corporate regulatory compliance and reporting. He remained on the board of Man Wah as a non-executive director until 1 February 2012.
