Singapore Reinsurance names Mervyn Low Cheng Chwee as General Manager

He will be in charge of the underwriting of treaty and facultative business.

The Board of Singapore Reinsurance announced the appointment of Mervyn Low Cheng Chwee as General Manager of Operations.

Mr Low, 45, will be responsible for the underwriting of treaty and facultative business, according to a Singapore Reinsurance report.

Prior to his appointment, he was Senior Manager - Sirius International Insurance Corporation (publ) (Asia Branch) Singapore from Nov 2010 to Sept 2012. Before this, he was General Manager (Operations/China Affairs/Human Resource) - Singapore Reinsurance from Jul 2006 to Oct 2010 and Assistant General Manager (Operations/China Affairs) - Singapore Reinsurance from Jul 2003 to Jun 2006.
