The ingredients are specially sourced from Italy.
Inspired by the warm rays of sunshine and the bustling energy as summer dances into the season, Buona Terra presents its Summer Menu, a degustation menu of six mouthwatering Italian dishes that will strike a chord with every epicurean’s hedonistic side.
According to a release from Buona Teera, available from 21 June to 20 September 2014, Chef Denis has created the scrumptious Summer Menu using the freshest ingredients specially sourced from various parts of Italy.
It brings the promises of an exceptional dining experience unveiling the robust and delectable flavours of the season.
The Summer Menu begins with Prosciutto Fichi e Tomino, a comforting appetizer of Black Figs and Grilled Tomino Cheese wrapped in crisp Parma Ham that promises to whet your appetite.
This is followed by a taste of the ocean with Gambero Rosso, a dish of juicy and tender Seared Mediterranean Red Prawn served with sweet Red Onion, a refreshing Tomato Salad and the flavourful Brandy Sauce.
Here's more from Buona Terra:
At once simple yet delicious, luxuriate in the freshness of the poached Organic Egg in Uovo Asparagi e Tartufo as the yolk oozes over bed of Asparagus and generously topped with fragrant Seasonal Black Truffle shavings.
Chef Denis Lucchi makes a refine spin to the Italian classic – pasta in Gnocchetti Tirolesi.
Featuring Home Made Spinach Spaetzle lightly tossed with Mix Seasonal Mushrooms Sauce, it guarantees to satisfy diners craving for a taste of the traditional Italian comfort food.
For a heartier palate, the Filette di Manzo – succulent Cape Grim Beef Tenderloin is grilled to juicy perfection and served with Veal Sweet Bread which lies crispy on the outside yet soft and moist on the inside.
A side of Artichoke and velvety Potato Puree helps complete the dish to delight even the most insatiable of appetites.
For an impeccable finish, guests can indulge in the sinfully exquisite Giardino ai Frutti Di Manzo, consisting of Fresh Mix Berries presented with an array of garnishes including sweet Mascarpone Cream, crumbly Chocolate Soil, Banana Cake and a scoop of the creamy yet delectable Olive Oil Ice Cream.
With over two hundred labels of fine Italian wines at Buona Terra, Chief Sommelier Gabriele Rizzardi will be pleased to recommend wine pairings for the Summer Menu at an additional $110++ per person or a bottle of wine to complement the evening’s gustatory delights.
