Salt grill & Sky bar, Luke Mangan’s sky-high dining destination at the top of ION Orchard, has the perfect gift for mums this Mother’s Day with a special Sunday Roast Lunch on 12 May.
Adoring grown-ups can show their appreciation for their #1 fan with either a 2- or 3-course set lunch menu (S$65++/S$80++), featuring Luke’s signature modern Australian flavours.
Opening the Mother’s Day lunch will be a selection of entrees, including Tempura prawns, tamarind dressing, green papaya salad and peanuts, and Salt’s ‘glass’ Sydney crab omelette, enoki mushroom & herb salad and miso mustard broth.
Traditional roast meats will be on offer for main course, with a choice of roast beef with Yorkshire pudding, roast potatoes and red wine sauce, roast pork loin with crackling, roast potatoes and apple sauce, as well as Salt favourites such as pan-fried potato gnocchi, corn, asparagus, zucchini, parmesan, thyme, truffle and verjuice dressing.
Top off a wonderful Mother’s Day with a sweet treat, such as vanilla crème brulée with marinated strawberries and strawberry sorbet, or chocolate three ways: chocolate sorbet, chocolate molten cake and chocolate caramel bar.
For little ones (aged 12 and under), a set menu is available at S$35++, with favourites such as crispy chicken wings, battered fish and chips and a banana split.
