After suffering from minor earthquake damages.

Synear Food Holdings Limited refers to reports on the earthquake that hit southwestern Sichuan Province on Saturday, 20 April 2013. The earthquake struck an area approximately 115 km from Chengdu, the capital city of Sichuan Province.

The company said production plant in Sichuan Province suffered minor physical damage as a result of the earthquake. Importantly, none of the company’s staff suffered any physical injury as a result of the damage.

In light of the numerous aftershocks since the earthquake, the company has temporarily shut down its plant in Sichuan Province as a precautionary measure to ensure the well-being of staff at the plant. The company will continue to assess the situation and resume operations once the situation stabilises.

The comapny believes that the temporary suspension of production at the plant will affect production and sales of the Company in the south-western region of China (including Sichuan Province). However, the Board is unable to assess the impact of the suspension at this point in time.
