ThaBev's full-year net profit up 14% to $764.9m

Thanks to almost three-fold earnings' growth in beer business.

Thai Beverage (ThaiBev) reports net profit from continuing operations rising by 14.3% YoY to Baht 19,036m (S$764.9m) for the year ending September 30.

The firm attributed the growth from increase in net profit of beer business of 280.8%, food business of 134.8%, F&N/FCL of 9.6% and a decrease in net loss of non-alcoholic business of 6.3%. It notes though that there was a decrease in net profit of spirits business of 0.05%.

Net profit excluding F&N/FCL was Baht 16,302m (S$655m), an increase of 15.2%.

ThaiBev's total sales revenue for the year was Baht 139,153m (S$5.6b)
