Deliveroo opens Asia Pacific hub in Singapore to support regional operations
It currently has close to 20 employees that will work on tasks like cross-border partnerships and recruitment.
Deliveroo has established in Singapore its new Asia Pacific Performance Hub, designed to support all the firm’s offices in the region.
According to an announcement, the APAC Performance Hub currently houses nearly 20 employees, who work across performance marketing, recruitment, partnerships and business intelligence. This also sees Deliveroo moving its Business Intelligence Unit set up last year to a new home under the Hub.
As part of its remit, the APAC Performance Hub will look at negotiating strategic cross-border partnerships with restaurant brands and service providers, recruitment, optimising digital ad spend, creating tools to aid in data-driven local decision-making, and providing guidance and support to customer service teams to improve customer responses.
This comes as Deliveroo establishes an APAC Regional Operations Centre, led from Singapore. Moreover, a head of regional operations, APAC, will work from Singapore, focusing on improving Deliveroo’s rider operations, working closely with the company’s 80-strong local operations teams based in other markets in the region.
“The focus will be on ensuring riders have access to well-paid, flexible work,” the company said.
