Food Empire says Vietnam coffee factory plans still under negotiation
The company is still conducting feasibility studies on the project.
Food Empire Holdings is conducting feasibility studies and having "exploratory discussions" with local authorities about its plans to construct a new instant coffee factory in central Vietnam.
The company released the statement in response to Vietnamese media reports on its purported project.
"The discussions are ongoing and no definitive terms have been agreed upon between the parties," the company said in a bourse filing.
Food Empire Holdings said it will make appropriate announcements "where there is further material development regarding the project."
