foodpanda blends popular brands in Woodlands Avenue satellite kitchen
It will combine nine brands including Coca-Cola, Nene Chicken, and Ben & Jerry’s in one place.
Food delivery service foodpanda Singapore will launch a pop-up kitchen called favourites by foodpanda on 30 March 2018, which will combine nine popular food and beverage brands under one roof. According to a statement, it will be the first 30 seater dine-in restaurant operated by a food delivery company.
Located in the North, the 3,100 sqft space will be based in 71 Woodlands Avenue 10 and will be delivering to nearby districts of Sembawang and Yishun. This will offer customers the chance to mix and match orders with one delivery fee or even visit the site to dine-in and enjoy fresh off the pass.
According to foodpanda, the new delivery-cum-dine-in concept offers dishes from brands such as Ichiban Bento, Crystal Jade Kitchen, Crystal Jade La Mian Xiao Long Bao, Coca-Cola, Nene Chicken, Saap Saap Thai, Kaffe & Toast, Ben & Jerry’s, and Wingzone.

“For partner restaurants, favourites by foodpanda is an opportunity to expand output and reach a new customer base, while taking advantage of foodpanda’s efficient infrastructure. The space and facilities at the pop-up kitchen concept are offered up rent-free to brands, in return for a percentage commission from their sales,” the firm said.
Singapore and Berlin will be the first cities to pilot the concept, with the plan to open another two to three in the city state by the end of 2018.
foodpanda Singapore managing director Luc Andreani said, “The launch of favourites is an important step in our growth strategy, helping our restaurant vendors to increase their output and reach. We are proud to be the first delivery company in Singapore to operate a dine-in restaurant, creating a fun and vibrant market kitchen atmosphere.”
