Gogoro and C&C join forces with foodpanda for electric two-wheelers
Riders can use Gogoro’s smartscooters for a trial run.
Following Singapore Land Transport Authority's announcement last year, Gogoro and Cycle and Carriage Singapore (C&C) partnered with foodpanda to initiate a pilot program that will support using electric two-wheeled vehicles for last-mile deliveries in Singapore.
The partnership will allow the online delivery platform to use Gogoro's smartscooters on a trial run and refuel them using the "Swap and Go" battery swapping system, eliminating charging downtime and parking.
The pilot program will let foodpanda riders lease the Gogoro 2 Series Smartscooters from C&C.

The electric two-wheeled scooter is designed for urban areas and can travel up to an estimated range of 100 kilometres on a single charge.
It is optimised for the "Swap and Go" swapping system, allowing riders to quickly replace depleted batteries with fully charged ones and maximise their earnings without compromise.
Aside from the battery swapping services, the C&C leasing package will include service and maintenance costs, making the operating cost for the smartscooter comparable to those of motorcycles with internal combustion engines.
