Petra’s net profit slipped 17.8% to $66.1m in FY14

Blame it on the weakening rupiah.

Petra Foods reported that its net profit slipped 17.8% to $66.1m (USD48.8m) in FY14, due mainly to the continued weakness of the Indonesian rupiah against the greenback.

Its revenue declined 0.9% to $682.7m (USD 504m). Excluding one-off costs related with its current dispute with Barry Callebaut, its net profit would have declined by 15.2%.

A final dividend of $2.58 cents with a special dividend of @2.19 cents were declared, bringing total distribution per share to $7.5cents.
