Thai Beverage boosts stake in F&N to 26.2%

ThaiBev is now holding a total of 372,661,322 shares.

According to an F&N file in Singapore Exchange, ThaiBev increased its shares from 24.1 % To 26.2 %. As a result, ThaiBev’s deemed interest has increased to a total of 372,661,322 shares, representing approximately 26.2% of the total number of issued shares (excluding treasury shares) of F&N. ThaiBev previously held 343,132,690 shares.

The percentages are computed based on a total of 1,422,683,509 shares (excluding treasury shares) in issue, as of 25 July 2012.

ThaiBev is deemed to be interested in 313,036,775 shares upon entering into the sale and purchase agreements as announced by it on 18 July 2012, by virtue of Section 7(6)(a) of the Companies Act (Chapter 50 of Singapore), and an additional 27,095,915 shares, 3,000,000 shares and 29,528,632 shares purchased by International Beverage Holdings Limited, on 24 July 2012, 25 July 2012 and 8 August 2012, respectively.
