ThaiBev posts 2.2% YoY rise in EBITDA driven by segment gains

Mainboard-listed ThaiBev reported a 2.2% YoY increase in earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortisation (EBITDA) for the first nine months of 2024 (9M 2024), driven by improved sales revenue across most business segments.

Leading in sales revenue was its Beer segment with ฿93.8b ($3.5b), 0.6% higher than the 9M 2023 record.
Its Spirits segment achieved the second-highest revenue at ฿92.8b ($3.49b), representing a 0.9% YoY decline.
Meanwhile, its Food segment recorded the biggest improvement, with sales revenue increasing 5.1% YoY to ฿15.02b ($563.95m).
The Non-Alcoholic Beverages (NAB) segment reported the second largest sales revenue increase, with a 4.9% YoY growth to ฿15.6b ($585.7m).
