SATS appoints Cho Wee Peng as CFO

The Board values his extensive experience in the areas of accounting, finance, treasury, investor relations, risk management and M&A.

The Board of SATS announced the appointment of Cho Wee Peng as chief financial officer effective 1 July 2013.

Mr Cho, 43, will oversee in finance, treasury, risk management, investor relations and corporate communications functions. He will be part of the management team which develops the strategy, plans and annual budget of the company, according to a .

He has been the group EVP (since 2008); chief financial officer (since January 2011) of Hyflux. Prior to this he was chief investment officer (2008-2011), and SVP group treasurer and investment director (2007 - 2008) of the same company.
