Tung Lok Restaurants (2000) appoints Tjioe Ka In as chief operating officer
She is daughter to Zhou Yingnan and sister of Tjioe Ka Men.
Miss Tjioe, 51, is in charge of strategic planning and ensuring smooth operations of the restaurants in Singapore and Indonesia.
She served as vice president of operations at Tung Lok Restaurants (2000) since 1997. She worked for the group in 1987 as a management trainee at Charming Garden for her internship and became manager. She joined Tung Lok Group in 1988 and became general manager in 1989. She then joined Noble House, Taipan Restaurant, and Ming Seafood Restaurant in Jakarta. She served as president of the Club from 2000 to 2001.
Miss Tjioe heads the operation of T&T Gourmet Cuisine. She is in charge of recipe and product development and planning.
She has been executive chairman since August 4, 2016 and has been executive director since March 1, 2001 until November 1, 2016 at Tung Lok Restaurants (2000). She is an active member of the Lions Club of Singapore Oriental for the term year 2000/2001 and member of the Ulu Pandan Community Club Management Committee.
She holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management from Oklahoma State University, USA in 1988.
