
Ministry of Health awards service merits to Parkway nurses
Three nurses were recognised for their outstanding performance and dedication to the nursing profession.
Three nurses from Parkway Holdings Limited (Parkway) are receiving the Singapore Ministry of Health (MOH) Merit Award 2010, which recognises their outstanding performance and dedication to the profession, a Parkway release said.
The winners are Ms Sandy Teo Ee Ling, Senior Practice Development Nurse of Mount Elizabeth Hospital, Ms Linda Ong Zhong An, Nurse Manager of Gleneagles Hospital, and Ms Foo Siaw Cheng, Senior Staff Nurse of Parkway East Hospital.
Dr Tan See Leng, Parkway’s Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer said, “We are proud that our nurses have been recognised for their contributions by the Ministry of Health. More importantly, this award serves as a reaffirmation of our nurses’ passion and dedication. These are admirable attributes which we would like to see in every Parkway nurse, as we continue to deliver the highest quality care possible to all our patients.”
The nurses were chosen based on their exceptional contributions to patient care and dedication to the profession.
The annual MOH Merit Awards will be presented during the Ministry’s Nurses Day Dinner and Dance, as part of its Nurses’ Day celebrations, at the Mandarin Orchard Singapore on Saturday, 24 July.
