Raffles Medical inked framework deal work on Shanghai hospital

Bosses have yet to finalize terms and regulations.

According to OSK, Raffles Medical announced that it has entered into a framework agreement with Shanghai Binjiang International Tourism Development Co., Ltd, a subsidiary of Shanghai Lujiazui Co., Ltd to collaborate on the proposed development of an integrated international hospital with more than 300 beds in the central business zone of Qiantan, Pudong New District in Shanghai, People’s Republic of China.

The proposed hospital development is expected to provide high end medical services to serve the local residents as well as international patients. The proposed hospital development is subject to finalisation of terms and relevant regulatory approvals.
