A*STAR and Flagship Pioneering commit $100m for health, sustainability R&D

The Agency for Science, Technology and Research (A*STAR) and US-based Flagship Pioneering will commit $100m over the next five years to advance health and sustainability efforts in Singapore and the Asia Pacific region.
Under the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) signed by both parties, they will collaborate to promote research and development between A*STAR research institutes and Flagship portfolio companies.
The partnership also aims to co-develop technologies in strategic areas.
The parties will also focus on talent development by initiating scientific dialogues and internship opportunities at Flagship and its portfolio companies.
