MOH monitors 'unusually high' COVID cases
There are 5,324 new cases as of 27 October.
The Singapore Ministry of Health reported there were 5,324 new COVID-19 infections on 27 October. It comprised 4,651 new community cases, 661 in migrant worker dormitories, and 12 imported cases.
MOH said the infection numbers were unusually high because many cases were detected by testing laboratories on Wednesday afternoon. The ministry will be monitoring the trends for the next few days.
As of 26 October 2021, 84% of the population has completed their full regimen of vaccines, 85% has received at least one dose, and 14% have received their booster shots.
The total number of cases in Singapore currently stands at 184,419.
