Raffles Medical partners with China Life amidst China expansion

The companies are expected to collaborate in medical services and healthcare management.

Raffles Medical Group has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with China Life Healthcare Investment Company Limited to collaborate on various initiatives in medical services and healthcare management amongst others.

“This strategic partnership with China Life Healthcare Investment Company represents an evolution in our journey in China where we not only want to bring the Raffles brand of quality and compassionate healthcare, but healthcare financing solutions as well,” Raffles Medical Executive Chairman Loo Choon Yong said.

The MoU will also allow Raffles Medical and China Life to partner in healthcare training and development as well as financing, through insurance.

Raffles Medical had opened its first Singapore tertiary hospital in China with Raffles Hospital Chongqing in 2019. It also has international medical centres in 8 cities across Greater China.

The Group is expected to inaugurate the Raffles Hospital Shanghai this year. This will be in addition to the newly completed Raffles Hospital Beijing.
