Singapore job seekers eye healthcare: report
Indeed data showed 71% of clicks for healthcare jobs are made by job seekers from Singapore.
Singaporeans are driving the demand for healthcare jobs, Indeed reported as it found that 71% of clicks for job postings in industry were from job seekers in the Lion City.
The jobs portal also found that there is a 16% increase in job postings in healthcare between January 2022 and January 2023.
Moreover, Indeed noted that there is 12% growth in job seekers looking for healthcare roles in Singapore over the last two years.

Not only that, a significant interest from other economies was also observed with Malaysians (37%), Indonesians (20%), and Filipinos (15%) leading the list of international job seekers eyeing Singapore's healthcare industry.
“The growing demand for healthcare professionals is a testament to the important role the sector plays in our society and the need to continue supporting its development," Florence Yip, Senior Manager, Talent Acquisition, APAC, Indeed, said.
"As we see an increase in job postings and job searches for healthcare jobs, we are confident that the upcoming budget announcement will further drive growth in this industry.”
Indeed also attributed the job demand in healthcare to Singapore’s efforts in strengthening the sector as well as its commitment to meet the needs of the ageing population.
