Singhealth launches new Centre for Global Nursing
The group’s initiative is aligned with WHO’s global strategic directions for strengthening nursing and midwifery.
SingHealth has unveiled the Centre for Global Nursing aimed towards advancing practices and enhancing health equity worldwide.
According to the group, the centre provides nurses a platform for knowledge exchange, training, and collaborations with multi-disciplinary teams from different countries.
Through this setup, the initiative plans to enhance the delivery of nursing programmes regionally and internationally, whilst focusing on sustainability and capacity building.
This perspective is aligned with the World Health Organisation's (WHO) global strategic directions for strengthening nursing and midwifery.
It is also in line with the State of the World's Nursing 2020 report, developed by WHO in collaboration with the International Council of Nurses and the global Nursing Now campaign.
