Synapxe, A*STAR partner for health tech innovation in Singapore
The agencies will develop a pilot project to onboard APOLLO onto AimSG.
Singapore's HealthTech agency Synapxe and the Agency for Science, Technology, and Research (A*STAR) have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to drive collaboration and scalable innovation within Singapore's healthcare ecosystem.
The MoU aims to address common challenges in healthcare administration, identify emerging technologies, and co-create scalable solutions for deployment into the healthcare system.
Under the partnership, the agencies will develop a pilot project to onboard APOLLO onto AimSG, a common platform for the rapid development, testing, and deployment of artificial intelligence (AI) imaging models.
APOLLO, an AI-enabled CT scan interpretation software, has demonstrated its ability to slash manual CT scan interpretation time, typically ranging from one to four hours, to under 10 minutes. It was co-developed by A*STAR together with its partners Duke-NUS Medical School, Nanyang Technological University, National Heart Centre Singapore, National University Hospital, and Tan Tock Seng Hospital.
