Singapore Marriott Hotel relaunches with posh room packages
Singapore Marriott Hotel's SGD 35-million renovation opens with two Staycation promos.
In a release, the company said the Hotel is inviting guests to experience its newest room categories with two Staycation packages, which also showcase the Hotel's full range of newly-added dining options to entice gourmands.
Located on Singapore's celebrated Orchard Road, the iconic property is offering two lavish room packages; Love is in the Air and A World of Two.
Ideal for a romantic getaway, Love is in the Air offers personalised romantic gestures, from a bottle of Champagne placed in the guestroom upon arrival, to a romantic four-course dinner with wine pairing at the Hotel's resort-style alfresco restaurant, Pool Grill. The package includes a one-night accommodation in a Premier Deluxe Room with breakfast for two at Marriott Cafe.
The Hotel pulls out all the stops with A World of Two for the ultimate retreat. Be enamoured by the welcome bouquet of flowers, a dozen fresh oysters and a bottle of Rosé Champagne served in the guestroom. Romantic gestures continue apace with a butler-drawn scented bubble bath and a plate of chocolate-dipped strawberries to accompany. Complete the experience with an idyllic picnic at Sentosa Island's Tanjong Beach with a pre-packed hamper of delicious treats and fine wine from Java+ and two heart-shaped cookies. The package includes luxurious overnight accommodation in the newly refurbished Junior Suite, or the unique Pool Terrace Room, with breakfast for two at Marriott Cafe.
The revamped and eponymous Marriott Cafe continues to offer generous buffet fare but now champions a new "Freshness Redefined" concept - whereby 10 professional chefs take centre stage at one of Singapore's largest open kitchen blocks to serve up a highly curated menu of quality dishes from the East and West. This includes signature dishes such as Crispy Pork Saddle with Pancetta Prune and Mixed Herbs, live pulled noodles, an extensive grill menu, alongside renowned local dishes such as Chilli Crab, and a large selection of oysters, snow crabs, crayfish, and prawns at the Seafood Station.
With its resort-like setting adjacent to the Hotel's rooftop swimming pool, the award-winning Pool Grill offers the best of both worlds with its tranquil setting against the urban landscape and skyline in the heart of the city. The restaurant's contemporary dishes are prepared using the freshest ingredients, to serve up classics such as its Caesar Salad, theatrically prepared tableside.
Singapore Marriott Hotel's SGD 35-million renovation, fully funded by Tang Holdings was overseen by world renowned design team, Hirsch Bedner Associates (HBA), giving the Hotel a new lease of life. The guest rooms are decorated in a classic yet contemporary style, using neutral colours and bold accent fabrics. They have also been fitted with state-of-the-art furnishings including two signature 1956 leather Eames Desk Chairs. Bathrooms now come with large walk-in rain showers, as well as extended vanity areas.
