Ascott expands footprint in China with two new serviced residences
Ascott Harmony City and Somerset Baitang are serviced-residences with 164 and 194 units, respectively.
Ascott expands its China portfolio with the opening of two new properties in the Yangtze River Economic Belt. Ascott Harmony City will be its first property in Nantong whilst Somerset Baitang is its fourth property in Suzhou, an announcement revealed.
Located near Nantong Railway Station and with a direct access to the metro interchange station which is slated for completion by 2020, Ascott Harmony City Nantong is the first international-class serviced residence in the city. The property is also a short drive away from Nantong Economic Technology Development Area which is home to Fortune 500 multinational corporations.
Ascott’s serviced residence will host an integrated development of a high-end shopping mall and some offices. It includes 164 apartments ranging from studio to three-bedroom units that comes with a living room, dining area and kitchen.
Meanwhile, the 194-unit Somerset Baitang Suzhou is located in the heart of Suzhou Industrial Park (SIP) and next to the central business district in the east of Jinji Lake. It is of walking distance from key government agencies and firms including the Property Rights Trading Center, Bank of China, China Merchants Bank, and the Industrial and Commercial Bank of China.
The serviced residence includes one to four-bedroom apartments. It offers facilities including an indoor pool, outdoor garden, golf course and sauna.
