Banyan Tree gets Singapore Tatler's nod for leadership in environment
The hotel and resort developer won the luxury magazine’s award for its contribution to protect the environment while conducting its operations around the world.
The award, introduced last year, is presented to a person, organization or company that has shown leadership in environmental preservation and protection.
The award, amongst several others, was presented to Banyan Tree by Gilbert Cheah, Managing Director, Singapore Tatler. It was received by Ho Kwon Ping, Executive Chairman and Claire Chiang, Senior Vice President, Banyan Tree Holdings. The ceremony took place at the recent 2010 Tatler Ball held on November 4 at the St. Regis Singapore to celebrate Singapore Tatler’s 28th anniversary.
The award joins the growing list of some 625 awards conferred onto Banyan Tree Hotels & Resorts and its Spas.
