Faster immigration clearance extended to Japanese and South Korean travellers

Those who have visited Singapore twice or more in the last two years can apply.

Holders of Japan and South Korea passports can now enjoy faster immigration clearance in Singapore as the Immigration & Checkpoints Authority (ICA) extended the Frequent Traveller Programme (FTP).

Eligible to apply starting 28 August are Japan and South Korea nationals aged six and above holding a passport with a validity of over six months and have visited Singapore at least twice in the past two years.

The programme will allow the use of automated immigration clearance facilities, also called enhanced-Immigration Automated Clearance System, at Singapore's checkpoints.

Enrollment for FTP is voluntary and free, at enrollment centres in Terminal 3 Changi Airport, the Visitors Service Centre at the ICA Building, and Woodlands and Tuas checkpoints.
