Mandarin Oriental revamps eGift Card

It's now compatible with Apple’s iOS 6.

According to the release, experiencing Mandarin Oriental service, Michelin-starred cuisine and award-winning spas with the Mandarin Oriental eGift Card is easier than ever before. eGift Cards can now be conveniently stored and redeemed with the Passbook application on Apple’s iOS 6 platform.

iPhone users who receive a Mandarin Oriental eGift Card will be able to simply click on the eGift Card to add it to Passbook.

The Passbook application also enables eGift Card recipients to view remaining balances and will have the option to receive alerts when nearby Mandarin Oriental hotels and resorts around the world with Passbook’s location-based capabilities.

Mandarin Oriental eGift Cards are available in denominations ranging from USD 50 to USD 2,000, and can be redeemed for accommodations, dining, spa and boutique purchases worldwide. Consumers can customise eGift Cards with a personal message and choice of design. Mandarin Oriental eGift Cards can be scheduled in advance or arranged for same day delivery.
