IMDA launches digital roadmap for hotel industry
It covers digital upgrades, data-driven integration, and higher levels of automation.
The Infocomm Media Development Authority (IMDA) has developed the Hotel Industry Digital Plan (IDP) to serve as a guide for enterprises, including SMEs, in the hotel industry in going digital, according to a press release.
The IDP provides a guide on the digital solutions to adopt at each stage of their growth. It also includes a Digital Roadmap for Training for the industry’s workforce.
The IDP broadly covers 3 stages, first on readying hotels to enhance digital capabilities, second on further enhancing guest experience by tapping on data driven insights and integration, and third on exploring advanced solutions for higher levels of automation and tapping into Singapore Tourism Board’s (STB) Technology Resources.
