More Singaporeans ground travel plans for the next three months: survey
Singaporeans who plan to travel in the future dipped from 22.40% to 20.26% in June.
Interest in travel amongst Singaporeans fell to 20.26% in June compared to 22.40% in May, according to Finder's June Travel Index.
Singaporean’s interest in travel has been a rollercoaster, with those who plan to travel last February at 16.39%, rising to 20% in March, before another dip to 19.33% in April.
Interest in domestic travel was down to 12.18% from 13.23%; whilst international travel plans also slipped to 12.18% from 13.23%.
Compared to the rest of the world, Singapore fell below the average of 27.13% in those who have travel plans for the next three months.
The Philippines topped the survey with 36.35% of those surveyed in June planning to travel in the next three months.
