
Singaporeans' average traveling expenses edged up at least 5%
Research also revealed rise in Europe-bound trips.
According to a research by online travel booking site ZUJI, Singaporeans are travelling more, and their average spend on flight and hotel options has increased by at least five per cent this year, as announced by the region’s leading online travel agent ZUJI Singapore.
The site saw a 20 per cent and 15 per cent year-on-year (YOY) increase in travel to Europe, and Australia & New Zealand respectively, showing that Singaporeans are travelling further in 2013.
The research also eyed trends within Asia, noting that the number of travellers to Seoul has seen a 50 per cent boost, and the sum of Singaporeans travelling to Hokkaido has tripled YOY.
