STB announces SingapoRediscovers vouchers online redemption process
The voucher scheme encourages Singaporeans to support tourism businesses amidst COVID-19.
Eligible Singapore citizens will soon receive their $100 worth of SingapoRediscovers vouchers to spend on approved hotel stays, attraction tickets and tours as its online redemption process has been announced by the Singapore Tourism Board (STB).
All Singaporeans above 18 years old are also entitled to purchase up to six subsidised child or youth tickets for attractions and tours, if they have family members under the age of 18.
“We have designed the redemption process to be safe, easy and inclusive for all Singaporeans, and we hope that they will take this opportunity to support tourism businesses, while rediscovering what they love about Singapore,” STB chief executive Keith Tan said.
The SingapoRediscovers voucher scheme was first announced in August by the Singapore government to encourage Singaporeans to support tourism businesses, which have been amongst the hardest hit by the COVID-19 pandemic.
The vouchers can be redeemed online through five authorised booking partners, which includes Changi Travel Services (Changi Recommends), GlobalTix, Klook & UOB Travel Planners (as consortium members), Traveloka, and Trip.com.
Physical counters will also be available island-wide to provide assistance to those who need help with digital transactions.
The redemption process will be from 1 December 2020 to 30 June 2021.
