He has decided to retire and not seek re-appointment at the Annual General Meeting.
The Board of Hotel Properties announced the retirement of Joseph Grimberg as non-executive chairman.
Mr Grimberg, 80, was also chairman of Remuneration Committee and member of Nominating Committee, according to a Hotel Properties report.
He was appointed to the post 10 August 2005.
