Lasseters International Holdings promotes Paul Wong Baan Chun to CEO

He has valuable knowledge of the hospitality and leisure industry and is well versed with the Groups business strategy and culture.

Lasseters International announced the promotion of Paul Wong Baan Chun to chief executive officer.

Mr Wong, 53, will be responsible for the corporate and growth strategy, strategic investments, overall financial management and people and organisation development of the Group.

Mr. Wong has held the position of CFO of Lasseters International Holdings since its listing in May 2004 until his promotion to CEO on 1 November 2013. He played a key role in developing, monitoring and evaluating the overall corporate strategy of the Groups businesses with an emphasis on bottom-line performance, working capital and enhancing shareholder value. Mr. Paul Wong has in-depth working experience in strategic and tactical matters relating to budget management, cost-benefit analysis, forecasting needs and the securing of new funding. He has been actively involved in the development and expansion of the Groups assets and is familiar with hotel operations and management, according to a Lasseters International Holdings report.

Mr. Paul Wong has been a Board member of Grand Imperial Saigon Hotel LLC for more than 15 years and has seen through the development of the Park Hyatt Saigon hotel to its opening. He has good knowledge in hospitality business.
