Italian insurance-financial firm opens office in Singapore
The lion city is Italy's largest export goods destination in the region.
Italian Export Credit Agency and insurance-financial company, SACE, inaugurated its new office in Singapore.
“With its growing economy projected towards future-oriented sectors, Singapore emerges as a high-potential destination for Italian companies seeking opportunities in Indonesia, Malaysia, Vietnam, Philippines,” Michal Ron, Chief International Business Officer of SACE said in a press release.
“Our new Singapore office will manage more than S$8b worth of new Southeast Asian projects in the pipeline. We are ready to play a pivotal role in realising these projects, thereby facilitating the engagement of Italian companies and fostering their contributions to the market.” Ron added.

The statement further added that Singapore, being Italy's largest export goods destination in the region, serves as a crucial gateway for Italian businesses.
The new Singapore office will serve as a strategic gateway to support enterprises in the region considering Italian suppliers across various sectors, leveraging Italy's expertise in high-quality machinery, renewable energy, and the green economy.
