MediaCorp to broadcast National Day Rally 2012 live

The 2-part rally is on 26 August from 6.45pm across its television, radio and online platforms.

In a release, MediaCorp will broadcast the National Day Rally 2012 ‘live’ on Sunday 26 August 2012 from 6.45pm across its television, radio and online platforms.

This year’s National Day Rally will be split into two parts:

Part 1 – 6.45pm to 7.30pm: Minister Heng Swee Keat, Senior Minister of State Lawrence Wong and
Minister of State Halimah Yacob will deliver their speeches.

Part 2 – 8pm to 10pm: Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong will deliver his speech in Malay, Chinese
and English.

MediaCorp radio stations will broadcast the full speech ‘live’ with translations in the four official languages.

Viewers who are unable to catch the ‘live’ broadcast may view a delayed telecast on Catch-up TV via xinmsn.com/ndp2012 or listen to the radio podcast at xinmsn.com/podcast from 27 August.
