SingTel launches fashiontv HD on mio TV
It's the frist to feature runway shows in 3D every day.
In a release, SingTel launched fashiontv HD on mio TV Channel 271. fashiontv is the network leader in fashion and lifestyle content.
Featuring the creations of top designers on the runways of Milan, Paris and New York, the channel is always the first to showcase the latest in fashion trends and the personalities behind them.
“We are delighted to be breaking new ground with this channel which is quite different from the one which is currently available in Singapore,” said Goh Seow Eng, Managing Director of Television, SingTel.
“Not only can fans view their favourite fashion in amazing HD detail, the unique mio TV feed also features cutting-edge programming – revealing and provocative designs will be available every night from midnight to 1 am. Our customers will be able to view the most daring styles featured in the fashion world today.”
Taking style into the next dimension, fashiontv HD is also the first to feature runway shows in 3D every day from 8am to 8.30am and 4pm to 4.30pm. Viewers can enjoy fashion shows, interviews with fashion personalities and special features in full 3D glory, allowing fans to get even closer to their passion.
In addition to HD, 3D and M18 programming, the special fashiontv service on mio TV will feature a companion fashiontv On Demand channel allowing customers to view their favourite fashion moments anytime.
For example, in September, the spotlight is on Zahia Dehar, the former escort turned lingerie designer who is creating waves throughout the fashion world. View her runway show (rated M18) anytime on fashiontv On Demand.
Fashiontv HD will be available for free preview on mio TV Channel 1 until 14 September. The M18-rated programming will not be available on this preview feed.
Fashionistas can enjoy this channel and its On Demand companion channel—both channels with M18-rated programming—at a price of only $5.90 (including GST) per month.
Parents who are concerned about their children being exposed to age-inappropriate content can use mio TV’s Parental Lock feature to manage their children’s television viewing.
