Digital marketing agency founder joins Forbes’ 30 under 30 Asia’ list
The list features young entrepreneurs and leaders in the Asia-Pacific region.
The past two years have been depressing for most of the youth as they are locked-in within their homes. But 27-year-old Ng Ming Wei, founder of a digital marketing agency, did not let these boundaries hinder in leveraging his talent and passion.
He is one of the Singaporeans featured in the seventh annual Forbes’ “30 under 30” Asia list, which showcases 300 young entrepreneurs, leaders, and trailblazers in the Asia-Pacific region, who are aged under 30.
Ng is the founder of Boom Digital Media, a digital marketing agency that started in 2020 to increase businesses’ presence in TikTok. He is also one of the most famous TikTok creators in Southeast Asia, garnering more than 30 million followers.
Ng thrived in content creation during COVID-19 crisis after he could not compete as a Taekwondo player anymore.
Another Singaporean featured in the list is, Loh Kean Yew, one of the first Singaporeans to be hailed as badminton world champion, following his win at the 2021 Badminton World Federation (BWF) Championship in December 2021.
He also defeated world No. 1 and Olympic champion, Viktor Axelsen, whose training camp he attended. Loh is also listed as No. 10 in the BWF world rankings.
Rana Wehbe Watson, Asia editor of Forbes 30 Under 30, said they presented entrepreneurs and innovators who are working to reconnect Asia after the global health crisis disrupted and isolated communities.
“From innovative ways of delivering e-commerce and online learning services to venturing into the web space, they provide a glimpse into what the region’s future may look like,” said Watson, in a statement.
