Disney+ to launch in Singapore on 23 February
The streaming service will also launch Star globally.
Subscription video-on-demand streaming service Disney+ will launch in Singapore on 23 February, featuring all key content brands Disney, Marvel, Pixar, Star Wars, National Geographic as well as debutante branch Star.
As the latest addition to Disney+, Star would bring more TV series, movies as well as originals, the brand said in a media release. Whilst already familiar in Asia, the integration into Disney+ would bring Star on a more global level.
Aside from a vast collection of more than 500 films and 15,000 episodes of content, Disney+ would also offer exclusive home streaming services for new movies released by The Walt Disney Studios in 2020 onwards.
To be made available through a wide range of mobile and connected devices such as gaming consoles, streaming media players, and smart TVs, consumers would be able to subscribe to Disney+ for $11.98 a month or $119.98 a year.
