Winking Studios increases capital in Shanghai subsidiary

It was increased from $18.5m to $38.6m

Winking Studios Limited has increased the capital of its wholly-owned subsidiary, Shanghai Winking Entertainment Limited, from CNY100.2m ($18.5m) to CNY209.2m ($38.6m)

The investment, funded entirely through the company's internal resources, aims to bolster the subsidiary's operational capabilities.

The board said it will not significantly impact the group's net tangible assets or earnings per share for 2024. 

It also clarified that none of the directors, substantial shareholders, or their associates have any direct or indirect interest in the investment, aside from their respective shareholding interests in the Company.
