What to expect at 2nd Annual MEF Certified Professionals Convention
The MEF is pleased to announce that it has created a compelling agenda and speaker lineup for the annual MEF Certified Professionals Convention being held on 16 November during the GEN15 networking event (www.gen15.com) at the Omni Hotel in Dallas, Texas. Details can be found on the Convention page. At GEN15, there also will be an opportunity for industry professionals to take the MEF-CECP exam for the first time or to renew an existing MEF-CECP certification with an attractive discount. Sponsored by Fujitsu Network Communications, the Convention is an integral part of the overall GEN15 event, which is bringing together a target audience of 1,250+ individuals from across the Carrier Ethernet and emerging Third Network services and technology ecosystem. Industry professionals may register here for the Convention or the full GEN15 conference. “We are excited to host our 2nd annual Convention, following on from the highly successful initial event at GEN14. The MEF-CECP certification program has created a very valuable community in almost 400 organizations around the world, over 200 of which are Carrier Ethernet service providers and operators,” explained Daniel Bar-Lev, Director of MEF Certification and Strategic Programs. He continued, “The expertise that is demonstrated by individuals achieving the certification is based on a rapidly evolving body of knowledge and work developed by MEF member companies. It’s very important for the community to track the latest advances at the technical level relevant for them in their responsibilities, such as network architecture and design, product management, and sales engineering.”
